Hazrat Bilal (RA)
Hazrat Bilal (RA) was the first Africa-American to accept Islam. He was known as a very honest, truthful and trustworthy person. He fought by the Prophet’s side and was the first Muezzin of Islam. He had so much power and emotion in his voice that people were awed at his azaan calling. When he recently accepted Islam, his master was so furious he made him lie on hot pebbles and place a rock on his chest and pressed it until he would deny Islam. Yet Hazrat Bilal (RA) kept true to his word and kept repeating “Absolute Oneness.” He was amongst the loyal and will always be remembered for his bravery.

he was a great man, he is my role model. he went through so much yet he never went against islam. now a days its very hard to find people like Hazrat Bilal (RA).
Bilal (RA) was a great role model,
he really inspires me, he went through so much and that really makes us want to be better people.

wow.. Bilal (RA) was a great sahaba and especially a rolemodel he sacrificed his life but he didnt denounce islam.. I think jabbu has a point that it's very hard to fin people like Bilal(RA) in todays society. He inspired me to becme a better muslim.
Bilal (R.A) was a man true to his faith and beliefs, he was a strong and noble man also one of the closest companions of the prophet (S.A.W). and like NAKUDIL said "now a days its very hard to find people like hazrat Bilal"
